This lace slouch beanie hides a secret…worked into the pretty lace pattern is an original cipher code, ‘Baudot’ from Bletchley Park. It reads, ‘knit, tink, knit, tink’. Here’s hoping you’ll enjoy the knitting and not have to do too much of the tinking!

This pattern is part of The Bletchley Collection, a six piece collection for Eden Cottage Yarns’ Milburn range inspired by the WWII code breakers stationed at Bletchley Park.
