Rhinebeck Hat
Rhinebeck Hat by Woolly Wormhead
Printed knitting hat pattern
Note From The Designer:
I’m heading to Rhinebeck this year for the very first time, and I couldn’t resist designing a new Hat just for the occassion. You don’t have to knit it if you’re going to Rhinebeck, and similarly, you can still knit it if you’re not!
My Rhinebeck Hat is sideways knit with short row colourwork. The panels are super quick to knit, and the pattern is easily adjusted for gauge, and working fewer or more panels helps you accommodate many more sizes.
The instructions are provided as a panel map - a method I first put to use with the Elemental Hats that has proved to be pretty popular. It’s a directional map, so the symbols show you which direction you’re knitting and how many stitches are worked in any given row, to make it easier to keep track of the short rows.
