Eden Cottage Yarns is a primarily hand-dyed yarn company based in Yorkshire, with an emphasis on simple, understated colours that have a timeless appeal. Owner/dyer Victoria takes her inspiration from the natural world, resulting in a wonderful palette of colours that complement the Eden Cottage patterns (for knitting and crochet) beautifully.
Keld is a beautiful blend of superwash merino and linen. The linen stands out on medium-dark colours as it doesn't take the dye the same as the wool, so it can have marled effect. The overall look is a slightly uneven yarn (it has some gentle slubs), with linen fibres providing a little fluff, depth, and texture.
