Midwinter Yarns is based in Shetland and run by Estelle.
This linen is wet spun. If you’re not used to working with linen yarn, it may appear a bit stiff and stringy at first, but it softens in your hands as you work with it, and will continue to soften for the many years that you wear it. Fantastically hard-wearing, once blocked it holds lace patterns beautifully without curling back on itself, and it drapes beautifully well.
It also works very well in DK weight patterns - just hold two strands together!
