Meg is a romantic homemaker at heart who battles her unrealistic desire for wealth and finery. This shawl is the largest of the collection (Meg is the eldest sister), definitely romantic in character whilst also being practical and warm and is something Meg would treasure.
Beginning with a single slip stitch and increasing to a staggering number of stitches briefly during the border (1541!), this shawl is fully written with optional charts. The charts are supplied as a separate file.
The 5mm needle is used for the cast-off only.
